1. Know DOT Random Drug Testing Frequency Rates

The DOT requires random drug testing to happen a certain amount of times per year and within prescribed periods of time. However, those rates change from year to year, and when you report your test findings may change too.

If you want to fully comply with DOT testing rules, you need to research these figures at the beginning of the year or when you implement your testing program. Otherwise you may be doing your best to comply and failing because you don’t know the rules.

2. Make Random DOT Drug Tests Truly Random
