FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse-II

A new phase of the FMCSA Clearinghouse is now in effect.
Are you prepared to comply with the latest federal regulation and avoid losing commercial drivers?

Get Compliant

What is the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse-II Regulation?

Since November 18, 2024, drivers who have "prohibited" statuses in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse for violations are subject to denial or revocation of their commercial driver’s license (CDL) or commercial learner’s permit (CLP) by State Driver Licensing Agencies (SDLAs).

Some SDLAs may begin the process prior to that date if they have the legislative authority to query the Clearinghouse and act upon their findings.

DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing

If your commercial drivers have "prohibited" statuses in the FMCSA Clearinghouse, they must complete the DOT return-to-duty process before the Clearinghouse-II deadline to avoid losing their CDL/CLP privileges.

FMCSA Clearinghouse Management

Running driver queries in the Clearinghouse is the only way to see if they have a “prohibited” status. Drivers must provide consent, and the right type of query must be run within a specific time frame.

MVR Monitor

Continuous MVR Monitoring tracks drivers’ MVRs and alerts you to speeding violations, DWIs, medical certificate issues, and license downgrades issued before or as a result of the Clearinghouse-II – right away.

CSA Monitor

Get a 360-degree view of your risk profile, including Compliance, Safety, and Accountability (CSA) score; crashes, inspections, and violations; and trending performance data.
